A Nod to Pride & Prejudice

It was like any other spring day in Seattle: cold, wet and rainy. All of the vendors were committed to braving the cold (even though our fingers went numb!) and made the best of the blustery day with Billie Holiday quietly playing in the background.

Brass candlesticks, florals intertwined with lush greenery, scripted wedding invitations, a chiffon wedding gown with jewels dripping down the shoulder, and a petite wedding cake complete with hand-crafted buttercream roses all blended together to create a beautiful nod to Pride & Prejudice.

Sometimes the purest form of beauty can be found in the simplest of things.

I had the greatest pleasure working with the most talented group of women on this romantic and ethereal stylized shoot, all of which share the same passion: Creating beautiful art and collaborating together to support one another's starting businesses.

Thank you to all the wonderful vendors who participated!

Artfully Wed

Ellie & Jonathan

In celebration of their 10 year anniversary, Jonathan and Ellie wanted to take pictures...and Ellie put on her wedding dress! We met at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma right when all of the fall leaves started to change brilliant colors.

What a precious photoshoot it was! I had the pleasure of seeing a small glimpse into the life they have built together - hearing about how they met and all of their wonderful children they are raising and the (many more? :)) children they want to have. Throughout the whole photoshoot, Jonathan could [not] stop kissing Ellie. Clearly these two were very much so in love and it was an honor to document it.
